# Porchlight Circle — a proposed organization

Status: UNFORMED / PROPOSAL ONLY

Mission hypothesis: Imagine a voluntary, privacy-first peer circle for isolated parents and other people rebuilding connection after difficult family circumstances.

First question: What does a respectful first conversation require so nobody must disclose a story, identity, or legal case to participate?

Smallest first experiment: Write one page of peer-listening boundaries and an invitation that requires no survivor narrative, uploads, names, or commitments.

Possible voluntary steward (role, not an assigned person): An opted-in listener who understands boundaries and referral limits, never a claimed counselor or legal representative.

What would count as an inspectable return: A reviewed, privacy-safe invitation and listening agreement, with no participant registry or private testimony.

Required boundary: No public survivor directory or intake. No promises of confidentiality on an untested platform, legal representation, therapy, safety intervention, or outcomes.

No consent, actual institution, partner, legal registration, membership or completed act is asserted.
