# The Artist Commons — a proposed organization

Status: UNFORMED / PROPOSAL ONLY

Mission hypothesis: Explore an artist-led creative meeting place where music, visual work and informal gatherings can grow from actual participation instead of organizational gatekeeping.

First question: What would a tiny artist-led listening or making session look like if every participating artist chose the rules?

Smallest first experiment: Create an example one-hour gathering outline with an empty venue field and an open invitation for artists to shape it.

Possible voluntary steward (role, not an assigned person): An artist or host who volunteers; no named festival, venue or coordinator is presumed involved.

What would count as an inspectable return: An approved artist-controlled plan or an honest account of what couldn't be organized.

Required boundary: No venue reservation, festival affiliation, commercial use of works, participant consent or ticketed event is implied.

No consent, actual institution, partner, legal registration, membership or completed act is asserted.
